Our Mission  — The Boise Co-op is a customer-driven organization that assembles the best people and resources to deliver the finest sustainable and specialty products to the community.

 The Boise Co-op is the finest health food/grocery store in the state of Idaho, if not the greater northwest area. We have the freshest selection of locally grown, organic, pesticide/chemical/spray free produce available – meats and dairy from local, grass-fed, free-range ranches and farms; the most extensive selection of grocery products from local vendors under a single roof. And our beer and wine selection is rivaled by none.

 We have everything one can desire, spanning the spectrum from the raw, vegan diet to a carnivore’s delight – the Boise Co-op is the place to be.

We have the most extensive selection of foods for most any dietary need, especially for those who are gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, averse to dairy or nuts…or simply seeking a healthier, more conscientious lifestyle.

COMMUNITY
The Boise Co-op also has a far-sighted commitment to community. From the American Heart Association to the Idaho Peace Coalition and numerous other worthy organizations, we actively support events that improve quality of life through a variety of venues. A significant portion of our revenue is returned to community projects each year.

ENVIRONMENT
Out of respect for the environment, we recycle, reuse and conserve in every manner possible. All qualifying materials are recycled. The store has been designed to minimize the use of natural resources and energy, and we seek vendors who demonstrate a similar commitment.
