Dr. David Eberle, Chairman of the Board

A native of Boise, Idaho, Dr. Eberle operates his own economic consulting firm and is a small business owner. After graduating from The Colorado College and receiving a MA from the University of New Mexico, David began his professional career in the Treasure Valley in 1978 with

Idaho Power. In 1983 Dr. Eberle left Idaho Power to reinstate The College of Idaho Economics Department and taught full time over the next ten years. In December of 1995 Dr. Eberle completed his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska and shortly after began his consulting firm. David has also been involved in the local community sharing his time and expertise over the years. He has been an incorporator for the Boise Improvement District, Idaho Small Business Development Center, and The Land Trust of the Treasure Valley. And, most recently David was elected to the Boise City Council and serves on the board of the Capital City Development Corporation.

Pat Haas, Treasurer

Pat retired from the food service industry several years ago. His foodservice career ranged from owning a small retail storefront to the Presidency of Foresight Partners LLC and All Kitchens, Inc., national marketing firms providing food and services to wholesalers across the U.S. Pat’s coop experience started over 35 years ago in Texas where he helped start neighborhood coops through an umbrella coop and did the food purchasing for the group. Pat has been a Boise resident for 25 years and currently serves on the board of the Idaho Conservation League and Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity. Watch for him rafting wherever there is whitewater to be found.

Alex has lived, worked, played, and raised two children in the Treasure Valley during the past thirty-seven years. She Wears Numerous Hats:

Susan Piper Grey, Public Relations

Susan was formerly the Community Relations Leader for Idaho Power Company. She is responsible for effectively leading, and strategically directing the corporate Community Relations Activities, budgets and human resource issues. Susan brings vast experience to the Boise Co-op Board of Directors with her years of community relations and financial management experience.

Ilir Bejiqi, Employee Representative
Ilir Bejiqi has been working in the Grocery Department at the Boise Co-op since June of 1999. He is currently working on his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Boise State University and plans a career in retail business. You can usually find him in one of the grocery aisles, moving freight, and stocking shelves.

Debbi Woods Staley, Employee Representative
Debbi has been the Human Resource and Benefits Manager at the Co-op since the summer of 2004. Board experience includes the KBSU Advisory Board, Boise State's Cultural & Ethnic Diversity Board, the Boise Blues Society, the Idaho Inclusiveness Coalition and currently the Ada County Human Rights Task Force. She is serving as recording secretary for a one-year, non-voting term on the Co-op Board, representing Co-op employees.
