The mission of the Boise Co-Op produce department is to help develop, nurture, and sustain real food communities–creating a network of local connections between people, the food we eat, and the earth we live upon. We strive to bring the freshest, best produce to our community that we can while attempting to nurture an ideal of sustainability that considers the true cost of conventional farming practices as well as global capitalism. The food values we believe in are: seasonal, fresh, local, & organic. 

The Co-op produce department is the jewel of our store, providing fully organic, pesticide free fruits and vegetables of uncompromising quality and reasonable price. We specialize in carrying the freshest, finest local organic produce  this significant emphasis upon local farmers and growers enables us to maintain a continual connection with the community and allow the Co-op customers the opportunity to eat healthy and buy local. 

We feature an array of local, organic, seasonal produce as well as organic products from the west year round. We always have on stock fresh organic green herbs and are the valley’s only source for organic tropical fruits. Whether you are searching for sustainable stables or decadent exotics, the Boise Co-Op produce department has you covered. We are the Boise Co-Op.
