Weiser River Signature Beef


Weiser River Signature Beef, LLC, was founded on the concept of providing local, naturally produced meat to the consumer. Only individual batches can be traced to the processing plant of origin.  We are finding that consumers are becoming increasingly aware of health and food safety issues surrounding large agricultural operations including living conditions, feed additives, hormones and product origin. Therefore, we are proud to sell Weiser River Signature Beef, natural, quality, locally born, raised and produced meat products that are guaranteed to be Idaho only-  and whose point or origin in the Weiser River valley is also guaranteed. At birth, the animal receives an ear tag or bar code which follows that animal through processing.  Finishing is completed in Weiser, Idaho, utilizing local, natural, and GMO free feed while processing is done in Nampa, Idaho. All meat is dry-aged.

They currently run 350 head of cattle on a ranch West of Weiser along with their three sons. Chris is both a member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Weiser River Cattle Association.  Victor L. Ward has more than 40 years experience in the livestock industry. Today, Victor still farms in the nearby Cambridge area and ranches in Indian Valley, Idaho. He maintains both a farm flock and cow-calf pairs on irrigated and dryland pastures. Victor serves on the Board of Directors for the Weiser River Cattle Association and has served as its President and Past-President. Providing local, sustainable livestock is his passion.
