Community Donation Requests

Good food isn’t the only thing we invest in. Each year, The Boise Co-op Market gives over $60,000 back into local nonprofits, schools, and grassroots organizations working to make our community better.

We focus our giving in four key areas

  • Local Food System Development

  • Food Nutrition & Education

  • Environmental Sustainability

  • Community Building & Inclusion

Donation Request Guidelines

  • Submit your request at least 4 weeks in advance.

  • Preference is given to local efforts related to cooperatives, food, agriculture, or environmental causes.

  • Nonprofit (501c3) status is preferred but not required.

  • We support organizations, not individuals or scholarship funds.

  • National organizations are not eligible—our focus is on directly serving the communities where our Co-ops operate.

  • If multiple committees are involved in one event, please consolidate your request into a single application.

Please note: Due to high volume, requests are reviewed 1–2 times per month. Not all requests can be approved, but we appreciate your commitment to building a better community.
