Why the Co-op?

Founded in 1973, the Boise Co-op Market is a co-operatively owned, not publicly traded company that puts an emphasis on keeping it local. What started as a small food-buying club has grown into a community of its own: more than 40,000 members, two locations (soon to be three!), and three sub-brands — Co-op Wine Shop, Pet Shop, and Corked! Wine Bar. You'll even bump into our owners shopping here.
