Founded by veteran Matt Bishop in 2016, Café Mulé started with a pack mule serving free cold brew along Boise's foothill trails. What began as a unique way to bring people together has grown into a respected Idaho coffee roaster, crafting approachable small-batch coffees while supporting trail maintenance, conservation efforts, and the outdoor communities that inspired it.
