Founded by Wayne and Elisabeth Carlson, Maskal Teff is a family-owned Idaho company that has been growing and milling teff for more than 40 years. What began as a backyard experiment inspired by Ethiopian tradition has grown into the nation's largest producer of teff. By working closely with regional growers and milling fresh daily, Maskal Teff continues to share this ancient grain while honoring its rich cultural heritage.
